The Fig House is forever one of my faves, and Cameryn and Ollie’s day is showing you exactly why. It’s laid-back, it’s easy to make your own, and it’s one of those places that you step into and immediately feel like you’re about to have the best night of your life. So weddings here just make sense.
This Los Angeles wedding venue is so unique because it’s a blank slate that’s easy to put your own spin on without being boring on its own. Like, the design of the courtyard and the mid-century character?? I can’t. It’s also intimate, lush, and calm even though it’s right in the heart of Highland Park, which is such a nice change of pace from the usual chaos of the city!!
The Fig House is such a gem if staying present on your wedding day is a priority for you. Connection thrives here, because the setup lets the day flow so naturally. One of my favorite parts of Cameryn and Ollie’s day was when we snuck out to get that last little bit of sun, and they just got to be totally themselves. The romance of them just simply getting to spend time alone?? I’m obsessed. It’s golden, like daylight.

Don’t ask me to choose my favorite thing about Valentine because I simply cannot do it. The lush greenhouse? The funky walls? The cinema screen in the reception space?? I’m quite literally obsessed with all of it.
I love weddings at Valentine because it’s a super unique wedding venue that’s perfect for couples who are a little funky and a little retro, so they’re always fun and a little different! Natania and Zach got married here and had the perfect eccentric, creative vibe for this venue. So if you need inspiration… Their day has literally ALL of it.
Here’s what you need to know about planning a wedding at Valentine:
The Los Angeles wedding venue accommodates up to 240 guests, which is the perfect spot where you get to party but also actually talk to your people.
There are indoor and outdoor spaces at the venue, and each has something totally unique to it. One room has a cinema screen (which I’m seriously obsessed with), several have vibrant murals, and some have neon lights and retro furniture!
Valentine also has two getting-ready suites on-site, and they’re honestly just as cool as the rest of the space.
Redbird/Vibiana
Redbird is an iconic restaurant in downtown LA that does wedding buy-outs, and it’s incredible. It has an on-site venue called Vibiana that’s one of your options, and both are so insane. These unique wedding venues feel intimate and like you’re in your own world, while still feeling like you’re gonna have the party of a LIFETIME.
Vibiana is an old cathedral turned wedding venue, and it’s giving classic elegance. It fits SO well for grand parties that have live music and flowing martinis, and I could nottt love it more. Redbird, on the other hand, is sweet and romantic. Picture a secret garden with Lover era vibes, and that’s Redbird. It’s absolutely perfect for intimate weddings, because dinner party receptions in the courtyard? They’re so special here. That’s exactly the kind of day that Kenzie and Andrew had, and you will not want to miss it if that’s your dream.
Redbird and Vibiana are fully customizable to your day, holding anywhere from 10 to 800 guests. So yeah, you have options here.

A modern blank slate with all-white exposed brick and the dreamiest natural lighting?? Sign me up. That’s everything that The Revery brings, so if you’re dreaming of a unique wedding in Los Angeles, this is the one.
The Revery is a Los Angeles wedding venue that’s just waiting for you to make your mark on it. It’s industrial and totally nontraditional, so it holds weddings that are a little different so well. I mean, just look at Sierra and Andrew’s wedding here: an Italian disco-themed wedding… Are you JOKING?!

Okay, last but not least: The Carondelet House. This one lives in my dreams!! It had to make my list of unique wedding venues in Los Angeles because of its cozy vibe and seriously beautiful spaces. When you step in, it feels like you’re leaving LA and stepping into old-world Europe with champagne flowing, jazz music playing, and dim lighting that makes you feel immediately comfy.
Hannah and Jake had their wedding here, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. They had so many unique personal touches because this is one of those venues that makes it so easy to make your own!!
It’s probably impossible not to be in love with a wedding venue this unique, so here’s everything to know before you inquire with them:
You can invite up to 220 people, and that’s the perfect size for a wedding here. It’s a part that still feels intimate enough where you aren’t overwhelmed, which is the most amazing sweet spot.
